Qaylah Humby is an emerging investment professional with nearly three years of experience across financial markets, foreign exchange, portfolio management support and client relationship development. Combining academic distinction with practical experience in regulated financial services environments, she has developed a strong understanding of global markets, investor requirements and the commercial dynamics that drive successful investment businesses.

Recently appointed as a Junior Portfolio / Asset Manager at Verum Capital, a specialist offshore wealth and investment solutions business, Qaylah works closely with the Head of Asset Management in supporting Financial Advisors, IFAs and FSPs across a broad range of investment activities. Her responsibilities include investment proposal preparation, market and securities research, structured product analysis, trade execution, portfolio monitoring and investment implementation.

The role provides exposure to offshore investment solutions, structured products, Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs), investment committee processes and portfolio construction, while also requiring regular engagement with product providers, trading counterparties and platform partners.

Prior to joining Verum Capital, Qaylah worked with Foremost Finance, a specialist foreign exchange and cross-border payments advisory firm. There, she supported corporate and private clients with international transactions, regulatory requirements and market-related matters, while maintaining close oversight of global currency markets and macroeconomic developments. This experience strengthened her commercial awareness, client engagement skills and understanding of international financial markets.

Qaylah holds a BCom in Banking and Investment Management and has completed CFA Level I. She combines strong commercial instincts with a genuine enthusiasm for financial markets and long-term relationship building.
