Tania was born and has lived in Cape Town all her life. As a career banker, having worked on both sides of the balance sheet for local merchant and retail banks, her most extended tenure was with the RMB / FirstRand Group from 1999 – 2018. Initially as a Structured Lending Specialist with RMB in Newlands and Stellenbosch, and subsequently as a private banker to HNW individuals and legal structures at FNB Private Wealth in Cape Town.
In 2018, she joined Swiss-based private bank Julius Baer when they established an advisory office in South Africa. At this time she executed her duties as Wealth Advisor and Relationship Manager, specialising in Swiss Wealth Management for South African domiciled individuals and families.
An experienced banker and relationship manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry for the HNW sector.
Tania joined Verum Capital in her capacity as Executive Partner in April 2023, responsible for developing a strong Institutional Franchise promoting Verum’s External Asset Management and Structured Products capabilities. She has a passion for developing meaningful long-lasting partnerships with Wealth Advisors, IFAs and Financial Intermediaries. Tania is registered with the FSCA as a financial advisor.
Her area of expertise is the management of diverse financial and wealth management solutions for clients as well as the provision of tailored and bespoke investment advice.

Tania lives in Sea Point and enjoys daily promenade walks and dips in the ocean during her leisure time. She is a conservationist, enjoys travelling, appreciative of the arts and practices yoga.
